Why aren't the guys I'm interested in ever interested in me?
I’m 18 years old, and I’m a virgin (I didn’t want to just hook up with a random guy). I’ve been told by plenty of guys that I’m such a cool girl and that I have a great personality. I’m funny and smart. I admit I’m a bit chubby, but I’ve been told its not unattractive, plus I’ve been dieting and working out a lot lately trying to lose some weight. I have little self confidence and I’ve been thinking lately that this could be a contributing factor. Why aren’t the guys I’m interested in ever interested in me too? Is there something I’m doing wrong? What can I do to catch guys attention more?
It’s a matter of what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a committed relationship, then you should show the signs to guys that you are looking for a committed relationship. The problem isn’t in your self confidence or appearance, it’s sending the wrong messages to guys. If you’re interested in a guy, then work at trying to let him know how you feel about him. Maybe you’re just not acting in the way that makes that particular guy to notice you.

I know what you’re going though. I’m 22 and just got my first boyfriend at the wonderful age of 21. Almost every guy I’ve been interested in has not taken an interest in me. Maybe it’s because I’m a little old fashioned and didn’t try to pursue any of them. But anyways I just wanted to encourage you by saying that I’ve now found the love of my life and it was totally worth the wait. Don’t be down on yourself! And don’t settle for a random hook up!
